Update to the last post about the AKPKF membership drive. They have made it even easier to become a member and have streamlined the process even more. Now, more than ever, you should get off your "duff" and get involved. I mean, really, what are you waiting for?
Go to their web site and click on the link "Premiere Membership" to see what is available to you via membership in this federation. Then click on the "spinning globe" on the home page to "Acquire Rank". They will be in touch within 48-72 hours with your rank assessment...most likely sooner as they are very prompt with their return correspondence. $24.95 for Advanced Rank placement and that's it! Everything else is FREE!
While you are on the site, please check out all that the AKPKF has to offer. This is a body of highly dedicated martial artists (all volunteers by the way) whose main goal is to help promulgate our beloved art form while keeping the integrity of the arts intact.
